Shadyside Campus Student Groundskeeper

About the role#

The Shadyside Campus Student Groundskeeper supports the maintenance and care of the university grounds. This role focuses on keeping the campus environment clean and well-manicured through daily upkeep tasks. You will report directly to the Head Groundskeeper and the Assistant Director of Campus Services.

What you'll do#

• Perform daily groundskeeping tasks to maintain campus cleanliness.
• Assist with general grounds maintenance as directed.
• Complete additional duties based on program and campus needs.
• Coordinate with other campus managers if holding multiple student positions.

What you'll need#

• Must be a current student in good standing at Chatham University.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor groundskeeping tasks.
• Strong commitment to team collaboration and campus management.
• Understanding of multiculturalism and diversity within a campus environment.
• Preferred majors include Environmental Engineering, Biology, or Agriculture.

Location & details#

• Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-site).
• Schedule: Part-time, not to exceed 20 hours per week during the academic year.
• Employment type: Paid student position.
• Note: Student roles do not automatically roll over to subsequent academic years or summer terms.
