About the role#
The Shadyside Campus Student Groundskeeper assists with the maintenance and upkeep of the university grounds. This position focuses on keeping the campus clean and well-manicured through daily tasks and assigned projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform daily groundskeeping tasks to maintain campus cleanliness.
- Assist the Head Groundskeeper and Assistant Director of Campus Services with maintenance projects.
- Complete additional duties as required by program or campus needs.
- Coordinate with other campus managers if holding multiple student positions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in good standing at Chatham University.
- Physical ability to perform outdoor groundskeeping tasks.
- Commitment to team collaboration and campus management.
- Understanding of multiculturalism and diversity within a campus environment.
- Ability to adhere to a maximum of 20 work hours per week during the academic year.

- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Shadyside Campus).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Part-time, paid position.
- Note: This role does not automatically roll over to subsequent academic years or summer terms.
