About the role#
Psychology Graduate Assistants support faculty and program management at Chatham University. This position involves a mix of research assistance and administrative duties to support the department, requiring up to 20 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist faculty with research tasks, including conducting literature searches and summarizing research articles.
- Contribute to literature reviews and complete CITI Human Subjects Certification Training.
- Support program management by gathering information on psychology topics and updating the graduate psychology website.
- Review and maintain current information regarding licensing requirements across all 50 states.
- Collect required readings for course syllabi and assist with the maintenance of Exxat databases.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a graduate student at Chatham University.
- Ability to conduct effective literature searches and summarize academic research.
- Capacity to manage administrative records and database information.
- Willingness to complete required certification training.
Location & details#
- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Up to 20 hours per week during the academic year, with a maximum of 980 hours per calendar year.
- Status: This is a paid, part-time position. Student employment does not automatically roll over to subsequent academic years or summer terms.
