About the role#
Chatham University is seeking a Graduate Student Employee to support the psychology department. This position involves a mix of research assistance and administrative support to help faculty and program management. This is a paid, part-time role requiring 20 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist faculty with research tasks, including conducting literature searches and summarizing research articles.
- Contribute to literature reviews and complete CITI Human Subjects Certification Training.
- Support program management by gathering psychology related information and updating the graduate psychology website.
- Review and maintain updated information regarding licensing requirements across all 50 states.
- Assist with maintaining Exxat databases and collect required readings for course syllabi.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a graduate student in a psychology program.
- Ability to perform literature searches and summarize academic research.
- Proficiency in gathering and organizing psychology related information.
- Commitment to completing CITI Human Subjects Certification Training.
Location & details#
- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Modality: On-site.
- Working hours: Maximum of 20 hours per week combined across all campus positions during the academic year. Total hours may not exceed 980 per calendar year.
- Term: Rolling; positions do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer.
