About the role#
CF Industries is seeking a Turnaround Intern to support the planning, execution, and improvement of major plant turnaround activities. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment by working alongside engineering, operations, and maintenance teams. You will assist with capital projects, reliability initiatives, and process safety tasks throughout the turnaround lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering and operations teams with the development and tracking of turnaround work scopes.
- Perform field verification of work packages, equipment tags, drawings, and P&IDs.
- Support turnaround-related capital and reliability projects.
- Provide field support during outage execution and monitor assigned scopes.
- Participate in PHA, MOC, and PSSR activities.
- Track project schedules and assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Document field changes and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented industrial environment.
