He or she also trouble shoots control systems during fabrication, commissioning, and startup of equipment. Lastly, the electrical technician performs initial testing on all newly designed equipment before it is shipped to a customer’s location.EDUCATION:Required: Currently enrolled and perusing a undergraduate or associates degree in Electronics Engineering, Applied Electrical Technology, or Engineering Technology.POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/CertificationRequired: Keen sense of attention to detail, highly safety conscious, high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, oral and written communications skills. The position requires approximately 2-3% travel annually.CORE COMPETENCIES (Essential Job Functions):Basic electrical knowledge of low and high voltage and the ability to troubleshoot, pull and label wire in panels. Ability to bend, run and attach rigid conduit. Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
