On-site Fall 2026 Internship - Finance: Accounts Receivable

About the role#

The Accounts Receivable Intern will gain hands-on experience by supporting the Finance team in Credit, Collections, and Cash Application. This role provides exposure to financial operations and enterprise resource planning through the use of SAP, helping to build a foundation in corporate finance, reporting, and customer account management.

What you'll do#

• Support daily Accounts Receivable activities, including Credit, Collections, and Cash Application.
• Process transactions and maintain customer account information within SAP.
• Assist with data entry, account maintenance, and financial transaction processing.
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel and SAP to support financial decision-making.
• Monitor customer accounts, assist with account reconciliations, and research discrepancies.
• Support collections activities by tracking communications and maintaining documentation.
• Perform cash application tasks, including payment processing and resolution of payment variances.
• Participate in credit-related administrative tasks and account reviews.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a college Junior or Senior, or status as a Spring 2026 graduate, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data organization and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to learn new systems and financial concepts.

• Location: Greensboro, North Carolina.
• Modality: On-site.
• Term: Fall 2026 (early September through December).
• Schedule: Part-time, 20-35 hours per week.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
