    About the role#

    The Customer Service Intern will support day-to-day operational activities to ensure retail customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. This role provides hands-on exposure to order management, supply chain operations, inventory allocation, and retail compliance. Interns work alongside experienced team members to learn about enterprise business systems and cross-functional collaboration while tracking product movement from production to final delivery.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with the review and maintenance of customer purchase orders throughout the order lifecycle.
    • Support product allocation, order entry, and shipment tracking activities.
    • Monitor order status and identify exceptions for review by Customer Service team members.
    • Assist with maintaining accurate sales order data and monitoring electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions.
    • Support the work order process to ensure customer-specific packaging and compliance requirements are met.
    • Prepare and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel to support operational decision-making.
    • Collaborate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Distribution Center, Compliance, and Order Management teams.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.

    What you'll need#

    • Current undergraduate Junior, Senior, or Recent Graduate (Spring 2026).
    • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong interest in building a career in customer service operations, supply chain, or retail operations.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a team-oriented environment.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Greensboro, NC.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Fall 2026 (early September through December 2026).
    • Schedule: Part-time, 20-35 hours per week.
    • Compensation: This is a paid internship.
    • Note: Sponsorship is not available for this role.
