About the role#
As an IT Attest Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting our audit teams. You will work directly with client business and technical teams to evaluate internal controls and systems. This role is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Participate in IT audit programs by learning about client objectives, policies, and external regulations.
- Document audit tests and findings to complete IT audit work papers.
- Write narratives to describe systems, processes, and controls.
- Collect and analyze data to draw logical conclusions about information systems.
- Execute assigned IT SOX testing and support special projects.
- Assist in risk assessment, audit planning, and development processes.
- Perform technical reviews of application controls to identify risks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Accounting or Computer Science.
- Strong interpersonal, research, and project management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and audit software.
- Capability to think independently, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks.
