    About the role#

    This is a 6-month full-time internship based in Neville Island, Pennsylvania. You will work with the automation team during conceptual design and engineering development phases. The role involves supporting plant operations, document management, and project execution. You will develop your skills through coaching, mentoring, and hands-on projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Support automation projects and general plant operations.
    • Create, update, and validate technical drawings and documentation.
    • Troubleshoot electrical systems and recommend cost-effective repairs.
    • Consult with engineers to interpret design concepts and requirements.
    • Collaborate with plant staff, project managers, and contractors to share best practices.
    • Meet standards for safety, environmental compliance, and equipment reliability.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve technical effectiveness.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
    • Alternatively, pursuing an Associate's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
    • Valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
    • Ability to travel domestically.
    • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
    • Familiarity with traditional and PLC programming languages is preferred.
    • Ability to deliver timely results while maintaining a safe work environment.

    • Location: Neville Island, PA.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Duration: 6-month full-time term with a flexible start date.
