About the role#
The Supply Planning Intern supports the purchasing department in meeting daily departmental and corporate goals. You will work on tasks such as reporting, analytics, purchase order maintenance, and supplier management to help the team keep operations running smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Support the purchasing department on a daily basis.
- Access and navigate supply chain ERP applications.
- Participate in weekly supply planning and purchasing meetings.
- Generate process and procedure documentation for critical supply chain functions.
- Perform data collection, spreadsheet creation, and analysis.
- Assist the business planning team with forecasting and supplier communication regarding delivery and pricing targets.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical skills and a self-motivated approach to work.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Capacity to handle multiple activities simultaneously while ensuring tasks are finished accurately and on time.
- Experience with Oracle supply chain applications is a plus.
