About the role#
The Legal Intern supports our legal department with research, writing, and corporate record maintenance. You may also assist with public policy advocacy and company-wide initiatives related to sustainability or knowledge management.
What you'll do#
- Maintain corporate records and minute books.
- Review due diligence materials for mergers, acquisitions, and commercial transactions.
- Draft supporting documentation for legal transactions.
- Prepare pleadings, briefs, demand letters, and other legal correspondence.
- Research legal questions and write legal memoranda.
- Research and draft policy advocacy documents and materials for public education.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Current enrollment in a Juris Doctor (JD) program.
- Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- The position is full-time and paid.
