About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Summer 2027 Co-op position based on-site in New Bremen, Ohio. You will work with the Quality Engineering team to gain hands-on experience in supplier quality processes and technical evaluation.
What you'll do#
- Read and interpret purchase and manufactured product prints.
- Process quality notifications and apply defect evaluation techniques.
- Qualify purchased parts using the PPAP process.
- Complete assigned projects that demonstrate your grasp of Quality Engineering principles.
- Potentially travel to supplier sites to observe specific manufacturing processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Mechanical Engineering degree program.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- Proficiency in Excel, including the use of pivot tables.
- Ability to develop or learn how to create Excel macros for data analytics.
