About the role#
This co-op position offers practical experience in website design, usability, and optimization. You will work on web strategy and site performance analysis while contributing to Crown’s design system.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the Core UI design system by helping design and document new components and patterns.
- Create and update Figma assets to support design system enhancements.
- Write documentation and usage guidelines for designers and developers.
- Evaluate component use cases and offer recommendations.
- Conduct UX audits to find usability issues and areas for improvement.
- Analyze website analytics, heatmaps, and interaction data to understand how users behave.
- Help develop A/B test plans and review outcomes to guide future design choices.
- Map customer journeys to find friction points and suggest changes that improve engagement.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for navigation and content layout.
- Assist in defining functional requirements for new website features.
- Test and validate new web functionality before it goes live.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Interactive Media, Web Design, User Experience, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Understanding of UX principles, visual design, and responsive web design.
- Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with web evaluation tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- An analytical and collaborative mindset.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid co-op located on-site in New Bremen, Ohio.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
