About the role#
The Operational Excellence Co-Op position provides exposure to the Crown Lean Management System. You will work on projects or events based on your background and the department goals at the time. This is a full-time, paid role.
What you'll do#
- Support value stream mapping projects and events using software like Video TimerPro, eVSM, and Visio.
- Assist with continuous improvement, 5S, and process mapping events across various plants and departments.
- Help develop web-based and instructor-led training modules for Operational Excellence.
- Build and maintain lean resource pages on SharePoint using tools like Power Automate, Power BI, and Excel.
- Track historical data for continuous improvement events and assessments.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- A focus on problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work well with others and communicate information clearly.
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
