About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Packaging Engineer Co-op position for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in New Bremen, Ohio, supporting the Packaging Engineering Manager with daily operations and process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Identify and review packaging issues to find solutions.
- Conduct time studies and observe packaging processes.
- Modify or review CAD drawings.
- Create and update project documentation.
- Gather data by working directly with production employees.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Packaging, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Supply Chain Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Clear communication skills for interacting with vendors and employees.
- Reliable personal transportation and communication methods.
- Ability to work on-site at manufacturing facilities in the New Bremen area.
