About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Kinston, North Carolina, supporting our engineering team in the development of forklifts and material handling equipment.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and development of forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Provide expertise in mechanical design, hydraulics, drivetrains, motors, or simulation analysis.
- Perform structural or stability analysis of product designs.
- Identify and apply validation procedures for components and systems.
- Evaluate new components and technologies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- A reliable means of transportation.
