About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the daily operations of our residential community. You will work to maintain high occupancy levels by assisting with resident retention and leasing activities. This is a part-time, paid position that requires living on-site at the community. You will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Deliver customer service to residents and prospective clients.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate file documentation.
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training and certification.
- Assist with planning and executing community events.
- Handle administrative front desk duties and maintain the cleanliness of the tour path.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities, such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Completion of at least one year of college with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and access all areas of the property in various weather conditions.
- Current or future leaseholder status at the community.
- Preferred majors include Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
