About the role#
As an intern on Team Pickle, you will help build an internal onboarding tool from the ground up. You will work with a team of engineers to define requirements, design backend systems, build frontend interfaces, and manage database schemas. This role involves the full software development life cycle, including infrastructure setup, feature development, deployment, and monitoring. You will receive technical guidance and mentorship from senior team members while contributing to the overall system architecture.
What you'll do#
- Write code that meets story acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, design meetings, and brainstorming sessions.
- Conduct design and code reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with product and analyst stakeholders to implement new applications and enhancements.
- Build and learn AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Create technical documentation for analysis, test results, and releases.
- Address cybersecurity vulnerabilities and ensure continuous improvement in development practices.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Cybersecurity, with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- Familiarity with application development using JavaScript and any backend programming language.
- A solid understanding of testing fundamentals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- You work well in a team setting and participate actively in group discussions.

- Term: Winter 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office).
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: Paid position ($45,000 to $85,000 annually).
