About the role#
The AI and Enterprise Applications team is looking for a Software Engineer Co-op student for a 4-month contract. You will work with architects and engineers to build software solutions and AI applications. This role involves hands-on work with enterprise systems and emerging technologies.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and AI solutions.
- Build, train, and evaluate machine learning and generative AI models.
- Prepare and analyze data to support model development.
- Collaborate on proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and innovation initiatives.
- Write clean, maintainable code following development best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and team meetings.
- Research new technologies and suggest ways to use them.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C#.NET, or Java.
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and modern software development practices.
- Understanding of data analysis, model evaluation, and software testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or prompt engineering is an asset.
