About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position for the Winter 2027 term. You will join the team as a Financial Analyst, gaining exposure to financial reporting, forecasting, and data-driven modeling within the financial services industry.
What you'll do#
- Develop an automated model to determine cost assumptions for business lines and present value models for investment decisions.
- Build a new Python-based model to automate the HST liability forecast process.
- Analyze financial metrics and performance to provide insight into business trends.
- Prepare financial forecasts to support product and strategy decisions.
- Participate in the external financial reporting and audit processes, including OSFI reporting.
- Prepare reports, schedules, and documentation while performing financial and operational audits to test controls and identify efficiencies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree or higher from an accredited university, with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Previous internship or co-op experience.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional day).
