About the role#
This is a full-time associate position within the Business Cards and Payments team. You will manage a portfolio of credit line decisions with exposure up to $1M. The role requires analyzing financial conditions to evaluate credit worthiness and presenting your findings to senior approvers, sales teams, and clients.
What you'll do#
- Make credit recommendations on cases up to $1M in exposure.
- Assess business financial performance against established policy guardrails.
- Conduct interviews with business owners to understand their models, revenue sources, and industry risks.
- Prepare clear analysis to support credit memos, including rationale for any policy deviations.
- Monitor portfolio performance to identify trends and ensure alignment with expectations.
- Identify and mitigate key credit risks by requesting necessary business and personal information.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher, or be in the process of obtaining one by May 2027.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Ability to assess financial statements to understand revenue, profitability, cash flow, and sustainability.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication, and writing skills.
- A team-oriented mindset.
