About the role#
As a Financial Marketing Student at Canadian Natural Resources Limited, you will work with experienced professionals on analytical projects. This role provides an opportunity to apply your academic background to real-world assignments while developing your skills in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Marketing team with supply and demand fundamental analytical projects.
- Track North American and International drilling activities.
- Monitor crude oil prices, differentials, and crack spreads.
- Help prepare weekly budgeted natural gas pricing using database and spreadsheet software.
- Track monthly production data for Natural Gas Liquids.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2nd or 3rd year degree program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Preference for candidates intending to pursue a professional designation like a CPA or CFA.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- A self-starter mindset with a strong work ethic.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Calgary, Alberta.
- The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.
- Available terms include an 8-month placement starting in May 2027 or a 12-month placement starting in September 2027.
- This position is paid.
