About the role#
This position offers experience in the design, construction, modification, operation, and optimization of oil and gas facilities. You will join the Facilities Electrical or Instrumentation and Controls team to work on projects within the conventional or thermal business units. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Calgary head office.
What you'll do#
- Apply electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering principles to develop technical solutions.
- Collaborate with various teams on reliability-focused improvements and initiatives.
- Gain exposure to diverse facility types and electrical designs used in Western Canada.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree or Technologist Program in Engineering.
- Graduation within one year, with a preference for Electrical, Instrumentation, or Controls disciplines.
- A valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or an equivalent out-of-province license.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada without restrictions.
Location & details#
- Location: Calgary, Alberta.
- Term: 8 months, beginning in January 2027 or May 2027.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
- This is a paid, safety-sensitive position.
