About the role#
As a Document Control Student, you will join a team of information management professionals. You will support the Document Control department by auditing and registering engineering documentation within the electronic management system. This role involves managing the lifecycle of technical documentation, from the initial design phase through to operations.
What you'll do#
- Audit and register engineering documentation in the electronic management system.
- Perform quality checks on internal, external, and vendor engineering documents.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and procedures.
- Manage the electronic flow of documents between project teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Contribute to Information Management projects aimed at improving the quality of and access to controlled information.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in at least your first year of a Business Administration, Information Management, Technology, or related program at an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An independent, self-motivated, and accountable approach to work.
Location & details#
- Location: Calgary, Alberta (Head Office).
- Term: 12 months, beginning January 2027.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Status: Full-time, paid position.
- Eligibility: Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada without restrictions.
