About the role#
As a Data Provisioning Student, you will join our team of data professionals to develop tools that streamline application support and enable data analytics. You will work on information management projects and contribute to the automation of business processes.
What you'll do#
- Develop application and integration components using C#, Python, and SQL to automate business processes.
- Create data conversion scripts to load information from external sources and address data quality issues.
- Build analytic reports using Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues with applications, interfaces, and SQL queries.
- Manage data access for users of SSRS, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide effort estimates for development tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, specifically Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering. Preference is given to students in their 2nd year of Information Systems.
- Familiarity with SQL and database query tools like Oracle SQL Developer.
- Experience or familiarity with technologies such as Python, Power BI, Azure, or Informatica.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada without restrictions.
Location & details#
- Location: Calgary, Alberta (Head Office).
- Term: 12 months, starting January 2027.
- Modality: On-site, Monday to Friday.
- Schedule: Part-time (maximum 20 hours per week) from January to April and September to December. Full-time from May to August.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
