About the role#
This Student Assistant position involves overseeing daily operations and supporting team workflows. You will help manage schedules, assign tasks, and guide staff members in their duties. The role requires a mix of technical tasks and direct interaction with the campus community.
What you'll do#
- Assist with scheduling and assigning daily work tasks to the team.
- Oversee task completion and provide guidance to staff on job duties.
- Prepare necessary documents and project materials.
- Maintain clean and sanitized workstations.
- Provide a high level of customer service to guests and co-workers.
- Communicate work status updates and task completions to your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at Cal Poly Pomona.
- Second-year or transfer standing in Computer Science or a related major.
- At least 6 months of job-related experience.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and MS Office 365.
- Ability to complete training programs and demonstrate required competencies.
- Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
