About the role#
Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises is hiring Student Research Assistants to work within the College of Science. You will work under the supervision of faculty members on projects involving remote sensing and computing, specifically focused on UAV-based remote sensing applications. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist faculty with field, laboratory, and computer-based research tasks.
- Collect data in the field.
- Perform data entry, storage, coding, and analysis.
- Sort, file, and organize research materials.
- Prepare research reports.
- Attend project meetings and training sessions.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology.
- Proven research experience.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or Master's program at Cal Poly Pomona.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship.
