About the role#
Mohawk Valley Community College is hiring a Computer Science Lab Monitor to support students during open lab hours. This is a part-time, on-site position for current students with work study funds.
What you'll do#
You will assist students with computer-related questions, troubleshoot basic software issues, and provide guidance on specific programs. Your responsibilities include keeping the lab orderly and ensuring the printer is stocked with paper and working correctly. You will also communicate with other students and staff to keep the lab running smoothly.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current MVCC student with work study funds available.
- You must be available to work Fridays from 12:00pm to 4:30pm.
- Preference is given to students matriculated in a computer science or engineering degree program.
- Please bring a copy of your current class schedule to your interview.
