About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Bloomington, Illinois. You will join our internal innovation team to research and develop business solutions using emerging technologies like agentic AI. This role focuses on hands-on project work that supports our corporate strategic goals.
What you'll do#
- Research and analyze business challenges to identify where new technology can provide solutions.
- Build and test prototypes, tools, and proofs of concept.
- Analyze data and translate your findings into actionable recommendations for business areas.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to scope and shape your project.
- Present your work and outcomes to leadership and business stakeholders.
- Participate in all program activities, including orientation, mid-summer, and conclusion meetings.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an IT-related degree, such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Engineering, at a four-year university.
- Current standing of at least a second semester junior or first semester senior.
- Experience or coursework in programming languages like Java, C#, Python, SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, or NodeJS.
- Familiarity with mobile development frameworks like React Native.
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to travel independently and stay overnight when necessary.
