About the role#
The Astros Golf Foundation is seeking a Ticket Services Intern to support the execution of ticketing and credentialing programs for the Texas Children's Houston Open and other events. You will work directly with the Tournament Coordinator and collaborate with departments such as Operations, Volunteers, and Sponsorship to ensure a smooth experience for guests, partners, and participants.
What you'll do#
- Fulfill sponsor ticket packages using Ticketmaster software and the account manager platform.
- Process ticket and credentialing requests for vendors, sponsors, and PGA Tour players.
- Manage the production of event credentials.
- Instruct clients on how to use their electronic tickets.
- Support admissions and hospitality committees with equipment, troubleshooting, and training.
- Manage one of the four entry gates during tournament week.
- Assist Ticketmaster representatives with on-course setup.
- Help the player services committee with player and caddie check-in.
- Assist the team with post-tournament requirements.
What you'll need#
- Junior or graduate student status in Sports Management, PGA Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, team-oriented work ethic.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate effectively with clients or vendors over the phone and in person.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with Archtics is preferred.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various outdoor weather conditions is required.
