About the role#
As a Stadium Operations Intern, you will support the safe and efficient operation of CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches. You will work directly with management to ensure the facility is ready for events, including Spring Training games, amateur sports, and community gatherings. This role requires a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week, with extended hours expected during the month of March.
What you'll do#
- Assist management with daily gameday operations and procedures.
- Help schedule, supervise, and train gameday staff such as ushers and ticket takers.
- Perform facility walkthroughs and submit necessary reports.
- Maintain ballpark standards and assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Support the guest relations, ticketing, promotions, and sponsorship departments as needed.
- Manage various facility and cleaning projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduation from an accredited college or university.
- Completion of at least one semester of study.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of PC-based computer applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Capacity to work in an outdoor sports venue, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic.
