About the role#
CT United is looking for a Team Operations Intern to help with the daily execution of club activities and matchday logistics. This role provides a look into the behind-the-scenes work of a professional soccer club. It is designed for students or recent graduates who want to learn about sports operations and event management.
What you'll do#
- Complete and present an assigned educational project.
- Provide broad operational support for team and matchday activities.
- Assist with matchday logistics, such as venue setup, equipment coordination, and operational checklists.
- Support training days and team operations.
- Coordinate internal communications between operations, marketing, and game presentation staff.
- Manage inventory and organize equipment.
- Support travel, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
- Serve as on-site operational support during home matches and club events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university program or recent graduation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and matchdays.
- Comfort working in live-event environments.
- Interest in sports operations, event management, or athletic administration.
- Previous experience with athletics, events, or operations is a plus.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration and Operations Management.
