About the role#
CACI is seeking a Network / Cybersecurity intern for the Summer 2027 session. This role supports Department of Defense enterprise network modernization programs. You will work 32 hours per week for at least 10 weeks. This is an on-site position based in High Point, North Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Assist the engineering team with the design and support of network modernization solutions.
- Complete assigned tasks under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Research and gather data to help the team make project decisions.
- Identify potential risks, roadblocks, and areas for process improvement.
- Provide general support to the engineering team as needed.
- Deliver a final summary presentation on your projects and experience to the division.
What you'll need#
- Must be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in a relevant field like Computer Science.
- Hold or be actively pursuing CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Network+ certification, with completion expected before the start date.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and technicians.
- Technical knowledge of basic data network communications and computer operations.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

- Location: High Point, North Carolina.
- Work Modality: 100% on-site.
- Travel: Up to 25% travel to other CACI locations or customer sites may be required.
- Physical requirements: Ability to handle light materials, boxes, or equipment.
