About the role#
CACI offers 10 to 12 week summer internship opportunities for George Mason University students. This program provides real-world experience across technical and corporate areas. You will be matched with a team to apply your academic knowledge, develop new skills, and contribute to projects in fields like software development, engineering, data analysis, cybersecurity, finance, and marketing.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ongoing projects.
- Assist with software development, IT support, or systems documentation.
- Conduct data analysis and contribute to reporting or automation solutions.
- Support business functions including finance, marketing, HR, or operations.
- Participate in internal meetings, planning sessions, and presentations.
- Contribute to research, process improvement, or strategy development.
- Present your work and insights at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student status at George Mason University.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- Strong academic performance and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in tools or software relevant to your field.
- Prior internship, academic project, or leadership experience.
