About the role#
As a Cyber Engineer intern at Cryptic Vector, you will work on software development, reverse engineering, and vulnerability analysis. You will join an engineering team to solve complex problems using various tools and technologies. This role involves hands-on work with mission automation and DevSecOps practices.
What you'll do#
- Write code using C, C++, and Python for software projects.
- Develop and improve software solutions that focus on security and automation.
- Integrate security practices into development workflows.
- Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities in systems.
- Work with experienced engineers on projects that impact national security.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain system performance.
- Research and test new tools to improve cybersecurity solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cyber Engineering degree program.
- An expected graduation date in 2028, 2029, or 2030.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience or familiarity with software development or reverse engineering tools.
- US Citizenship is required for this role due to government contract restrictions.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Woburn, Massachusetts.
- The role is full-time at 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
