About the role#
CACI is seeking a Network / Cybersecurity intern for the Summer 2027 session. This role involves working 32 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks. You will support Department of Defense enterprise network modernization efforts while working on-site in High Point, North Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Assist the engineering team in designing and supporting network modernization solutions throughout the project life cycle.
- Complete tasks under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Gather data and conduct research to inform project decision-making.
- Identify risks, roadblocks, and potential process improvements.
- Provide general support to the engineering team as needed.
- Prepare and deliver a final summary presentation of your projects and experience to the division.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student, or status as a graduating high school senior with technical aptitude.
- CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Network+ certification (must be completed prior to the start date).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic data network communications and computer operations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and technicians.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Preferred: A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity; a GPA of 3.0 or higher; previous internship experience; military or government experience; and technical familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba equipment.

- Work Modality: 100% on-site.
- Travel: Up to 25% travel to other CACI locations or customer sites may be required.
- Physical requirements: Ability to handle light materials, boxes, or equipment.
