About the role#
CACI is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineering Intern to join our Systems Engineering team in Sarasota, Florida. This role focuses on the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services. You will work alongside experienced technologists to build cloud management and emulation capabilities. This position offers exposure to full stack development, infrastructure automation, and cloud service provider environments.
What you'll do#
- Assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Apply your architectural and development skills to create cloud-focused applications.
- Participate in agile scrum standups as well as planning and review meetings.
- Perform incremental testing on code, processes, and deployments to reduce errors.
- Document your projects and share findings with the team.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with software development in Go, Python, Java, Node.js, or Bash.
- Familiarity with structured and unstructured file formats like JSON or YAML.
- Experience with development and automation in Windows or Linux environments.
- A solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewalls.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
