About the role#
Butterball is hiring a Finance Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Garner, North Carolina. You will work within the corporate accounting and finance department to gain professional experience in the manufacturing industry. The program focuses on professional development and provides exposure to various financial systems and internal workflows.
What you'll do#
- Build ad-hoc reports and analyze data.
- Collaborate with various departments across the company.
- Assist with data reconciliation and prepare monthly financial summaries.
- Participate in special projects, including variance reporting and inventory analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
- Strong academic performance and participation in extracurricular activities.
- Strong technical skills.
- Personal integrity and effective communication skills.
- Ability to show initiative and assume leadership roles.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
