About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in project management within the building materials industry. You will work under direct supervision to support project planning, execution, and monitoring. The role involves a mix of office tasks and field work to help you understand project lifecycles and operational processes.
What you'll do#
- Support Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily project activities.
- Visit job sites to observe progress, verify quality standards, and ensure schedules remain on track.
- Assist with project tracking, documentation, and the preparation of status reports.
- Monitor project milestones to identify potential risks or delays.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and engineering to achieve project goals.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Junior or senior level status is preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds as needed for field visits.
