About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in Human Resources within the building materials industry. You will work under direct supervision to support core HR functions, gain organizational knowledge, and assist with daily business operations. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support onboarding activities by preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation sessions.
- Assist with benefits administration processes and employee communication.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Help plan and coordinate employee recognition and engagement programs.
- Participate in HR projects that involve data gathering, research, reporting, and process improvement.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
