About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship offers hands-on experience in sales and marketing within an environmental services firm. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to support marketing campaigns, brand strategy, and creative content development. This is a full-time, on-site role designed to help you build professional skills while contributing to real project objectives.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social channels.
- Assist in creating marketing materials like social media graphics, email templates, and presentations.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and marketing team members to maintain brand consistency.
- Help manage content calendars and contribute ideas for blogs and multimedia content.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform creative strategies.
- Track campaign performance and compile analytics reports.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards for leadership review.
- Organize and archive creative assets and project files.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to creative ideation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor deliverables and gather requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement and change management efforts.
- Attend required Intern Workshops and Summer Series sessions.
- Complete an assigned intern capstone project.
- Adapt to additional assignments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Intent to continue enrollment in an accredited program following the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, and Google Ads.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Willingness to perform field work at various sites when required.
- A proactive mindset and a positive attitude toward learning.
