About the role#
This summer internship offers an introduction to environmental commodity markets. You will work with the North American renewable fuels, electricity, and emissions teams. The role provides a view into how these markets operate and how environmental attributes are traded.
What you'll do#
- Rotate among different trading teams to gain broad exposure.
- Complete ad-hoc projects focused on market analysis or related business needs.
- Develop and present an individual intern project on topics like new products, market strategies, or data analysis.
- Join team building events with the intern class and staff from both front and back-office departments.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status in engineering, economics, business, or sustainability.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Interest in electricity, fuels, and environmental attributes.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
- Expert proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with Python, Power Automate, or similar analytical tools is preferred.
- A collaborative approach to working with others.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Pay: $30 to $40 per hour.
