About the role#
ACT Group is looking for an Accounting Summer Intern to join our team in New York. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at our New York office to support our accounting department with daily operations and month-end processes.
What you'll do#
- Handle daily bookkeeping tasks like data entry, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payments.
- Help with month-end close activities, including the preparation of workpapers and supporting schedules.
- Gather documentation for company audits.
- Create and update documentation for standard operating procedures.
- Assist with various ad hoc projects as they arise.
What you'll need#
- You are an undergraduate student graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You have a basic understanding of accounting principles.
- You are comfortable using Excel and pay close attention to detail.
- You have strong numerical skills and think critically about problems.
- You possess good organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- You have a strong interest in energy transition and environmental commodity markets.
- You are a proactive team player with a positive attitude.

- This role is based in New York, New York.
- The position requires you to work on-site in the office.
