About the role#
Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. is hiring a Business Development Intern for our office in Plainville, CT. This paid position provides hands-on experience in market research, sales support, and strategic planning. You will work directly with our team to identify growth opportunities and manage client relationships.
What you'll do#
- Find qualified leads and help the team respond to client inquiries.
- Reach out to potential customers using phone, email, and other channels.
- Keep our client database accurate and up to date.
- Research the market and help forecast industry trends.
- Work with the marketing team to build and run targeted strategies.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to assist with business decisions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with our clients.
- Join internal meetings and participate in cross-functional projects.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior status in a degree program like Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Management, or Strategy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to think logically and creatively.
- Willingness to travel if the role requires it.
- Previous experience or coursework in sales, marketing, or business strategy is helpful.

- Compensation: $20 to $23 per hour.
- Status: Full-time internship with a rolling term.
