About the role#
As a Summer Geoscience Intern, you will work as a Geologist or Geophysicist on integrated subsurface projects. This 12-week program provides hands-on experience, allowing you to contribute to technical deliverables and collaborate with experienced colleagues. You will help frame subsurface uncertainty to support business decisions across exploration, appraisal, development, and production settings.
What you'll do#
- Apply geophysical and geological interpretation skills to deliver integrated descriptions and evaluations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations of prospects and fields across various settings.
- Interpret and integrate subsurface data over complex reservoirs to define geological interpretation.
- Construct framework structural and stratigraphic models to support rock volume calculations.
- Support well planning and delivery activities through the generation of pre-drill prognoses.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Science, Geoscience, or a related discipline.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
- Availability to start the internship on May 17, 2027, or June 14, 2027.
- Ability to pass all required background and medical checks.
