About the role#
Bohler is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for our Atlanta office for the Fall 2026 term. This role offers hands-on experience in land development and site design. You will work alongside engineers and project managers to support the design and permitting of commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
What you'll do#
- Experience the daily operations of a civil engineering and site design firm.
- Learn the stages of land development from concept to construction.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create concept, grading, stormwater management, utility, and erosion control plans.
- Research zoning ordinances and coordinate with local jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with team members to drive projects forward.
- Visit project sites to observe field conditions and the engineering process.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to design improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Curiosity and motivation to learn.
