About the role#
Halff is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our teams. This is a paid, full-time internship where you will work 40 hours per week. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting various civil engineering projects.
What you'll do#
- Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
- Perform drafting CAD work.
- Complete calculations and analysis for design projects.
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
- Coordinate with team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or an ABET accredited equivalent engineering degree.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work well within a team.
- Self-motivation and strong organizational skills.
Location & details#
- Locations: Frisco, Dallas, Richardson, Fort Worth, and Austin, Texas.
- Schedule: Full-time, typically Monday through Friday from 8a to 5p.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
