About the role#
This position is open exclusively to current or former HNTB interns. You will work under close supervision to assist with construction services tasks. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in a construction services program who want to gain practical experience on infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Support construction office operations by taking meeting minutes and processing tracking logs.
- Attend and observe meetings with internal and external project teams.
- Observe on-site material testing procedures.
- Assist with basic shop drawing reviews to check for compliance with plans and specifications.
- Conduct research and collect data as needed.
- Read construction drawings and provide feedback.
- Contribute to special projects as directed.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services program.
- Completion of at least 2 years of a post-secondary construction services program is preferred.
- Status as a current or former HNTB intern.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Work is performed on-site.
- Locations include Austin, Baton Rouge, Dallas, Des Moines, El Paso, Fort Worth, Houston, Kansas City, Little Rock, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Overland Park, Plano, San Antonio, and St. Louis.
