About the role#
Bohler is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Bedford, New Hampshire. This role offers hands-on experience in land development and site design. You will work alongside engineers and project managers to learn the stages of the development process, from initial concepts to construction.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and permitting of commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create concept, grading, stormwater management, utility, and erosion control plans.
- Research zoning ordinances and coordinate with local jurisdictions.
- Visit project sites to observe field conditions and see the engineering process in action.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate and drive projects forward.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Interest in civil site design, land development, and problem-solving.
