About the role#
This position is open exclusively to current or former HNTB interns. You will provide technical support to structural engineering efforts across all phases of our building projects. This includes work on sports, aviation, government, rail, and transit facilities within our national architectural practice.
What you'll do#
- Perform structural engineering tasks, including research for codes and project criteria, design calculations, and detailing.
- Create analysis models and design drawings.
- Provide structural engineering analysis and design for framing and foundation systems, including steel, concrete, and wood building frame systems.
- Support the construction phase by responding to questions and conducting site observations.
- Prepare design drawings and specifications.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Status as a current or former HNTB intern.
