About the role#
The Facilities Engineering internship provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Boeing Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization. Interns will work on infrastructure planning, capital improvement projects, and maintenance operations. This program is designed to develop future leaders in the aerospace industry by integrating interns into real-world engineering projects.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with a mentor in your field of study to find solutions to real-world problems.
- Tour manufacturing and research facilities to experience products up close.
- Interact directly with company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of Boeing.
- Build a professional network through social events and engaging activities.
- Apply engineering principles to translate customer requirements into feasible designs for construction and maintenance projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Major in a core engineering discipline, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills.
- Strong academic performance, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Status as a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15.
